Introduction
'Hotel Heritage' is my development of an existing site built in 1873 known as Spadina Hotel. It has maintained its original form, structure and main external facade. My concept was to lean into the notions of heritage and through form, texture, color and materiality and so I have explored the development of the site through the woes of those in the clubs, casinos and streets of Toronto as if they were placed in 1873.
